[Going off of what she'd learned from Kise, Momoi knew that there were other people living in her house. That much was obvious, given that the place had a very lived-in feel and wasn't exactly squeaky clean. But when she arrived, the place had been empty, and remained empty when she returned. Or well, she thinks it's empty. Every so often, she thinks she hears a snore, and like hell is she going to wake someone up and let that be her first introduction to them.

So at the sound of someone coming inside, she hurries to the front door to greet them, only to stop in surprise when she immediately recognizes them.]

honest to goodness, this just amounts to....him being worried about her and wanting her to know how she is really thought of: a friend he never wants to see cry. ]

[she will never, ever tell him that she sheds a few tears over his present (since that's kind of the opposite of what he wanted), but she does tape the note inside the cover of her notebook and send him selfie of her using it to do her English homework a few days later, smiling broadly and flashing a peace sign.]

[makoto stretches on his chair--arms up above his head, and exhales a little loudly. his shoulders were tense and still feel like it, and he's been bowed over the table sorting out timetables and training sessions with momoi for almost 2 hours. he's always known a manager's job is a hard one, but he's never had to actually sit with gou when she made these things, as it was his job to train, instead.]

[unlike makoto, momoi doesn't seem to be affected by the amount of time they've spent bent over their papers and charts. this is the sort of thing she's used to, and can spend an entire afternoon not moving from her seat and only realize how stiff she's become once she's pulled from her trance. however, it's undeniable how much nicer it is to have company than it is to work alone in her bedroom or in the lounge before or after practice.

makoto's leg bumps her feet lightly, and it makes her smile as she finishes jotting down her current sentence before looking up.]
