♥ Hi~! You've reached Momoi Satsuki, but unfortunately, I'm not available right now! Leave me a message and I'll call you back ASAP! Or send me a text, I might get back to you faster that way. Thank you! Mwah! ♥
[Aomine doesn't like hugs, that's a fact of life, but after waking up in a lawnchair in a strange place, she deserves a hug god damn it. So she wraps her arms around him and squeezes him tight.]
I'm so glad you live here, that makes me feel so much better. I don't know what I would do if I was suddenly living with a bunch of strangers, especially if they're boys! [Having him around makes her feel much more comfortable and safe.] I just woke up today.
[he's not sure what to be startled over. the fact that satsuki is here in his house standing right in front of him, or the fact that she's pulling him into a hug. but he gets the feeling that she needs this hug, so he's just going to stand there and let her hug him.] We're not that bad.... [he shifts to the side awkwardly] So what have you found out about this place already?
[We're not that bad?] No, I mean like, safety-wise. Would you really trust a group of unfamiliar boys to live in the same house as me?
[At any rate, it looks like the hug is making him uncomfortable, so she lets him go.] Just what it said in the welcome packet, and what Kichan has told me. He's here too! We got here at the same time, apparently, although he lives somewhere else.
No. [he says that without any hesitation at all. maybe... he should rescind that comment and say some of us aren't half bad. he probably wouldn't mind it terribly if someone like tetsu lived with her, heck even kise would be okay. but still. he's kind of glad that he was the one that ended up living with her instead. he shifts awkwardly to the side the moment she lets go of him. he's not sure why though, hm. whatever, it's probably not an important feeling.]
Well that's pretty much it. [a beat] There's a sport center here that's pretty cool.
[The way he answers without hesitation makes her smile, because while she never doubts that he looks out for her and wants to keep her safe, it's always nice to hear him say so. The way he shifts away as soon as she lets go, though, kind of dulls the feeling. Usually he doesn't hate her hugs that much.]
It doesn't seem like a complicated place, since it's basically just an enclosed, self-sustaining community. [Her smile grows.] A sports center? I shouldn't be surprised! Have you found anyone to play with yet?
[oh nooo. well at least it's awkward shifting because he's a dumb boy and emotions are hard :c and seeing satsuki being potentially down in the dumps is hard to deal with weh. he shakes his head.]
Some but they tire out easily. [bc npcs yeeahhh!!!]
Everyone tires out easily compared to you, so that doesn't say much. [It took them literal years to find someone who could challenge him, so the fact that this new place is disappointing doesn't surprise her.] But Kichan is here now, so at least you have someone decent to play against.
Eh? Is he?! [It wasn't as if she forgot that Kichan was injured, but she didn't realize how serious it was. Now she's glad that Daichan told her, so she can keep an eye on him and make sure he's doing his physical therapy stretches.] Have you talked to him?
Yeah. He's apparently from the middle of his match with Tetsu's team. [speaking of which though.... he looks at her curiously.] What's the last thing that you remember happening back home?
[he needs to know if he should worry about spoilers or not.]
The middle? How can he come straight from the middle of something like that? [It didn't make any sense.] And um, the last thing I remember is Tetsukun coming to see me to get one of the photos I took of the old team. It was a little bit after the end of the Winter Cup, I believe.
[he shrugs.] I don't know but he is. [he's kind of upset about the them losing too, so don't bring that up okok] After the Winter Cup? [part of him is curious how it ends, but he has a very good idea how it does end. so he'll just nod his head. he'd also say where he's from specifically, but it was a very emotional time for him okok.]
[oh, well that makes sense. She may not be intimately aware of all his emotions at the time, but she does know that it was a time when he was having a lot of them.]
I see...are there any repercussions for revealing things that I know? I'm not really smart enough to understand like, time theory and stuff, but I'm pretty sure things get messed up if you reveal the future to people.
I don't know, but if there is I'm already fucked. [he sighs.] I get the feeling that there probably are though. I mean, if you mention things to a person who's in the past then it could mess up events in the future.
I didn't go into great detail about the game though. I just... might have told him that I was watching Tetsu's and Akashi's game...
Daichan, that's a huge spoiler! [poor ki-chan. If he came from the middle of his game with Tetsu, then Aomine saying that he'd seen the game against Akashi meant that obviously, Kise and his team lost.] Well, at least the you from after the winter cup doesn't have more tact than the you from now, so I'm not even surprised.
We should both try harder not to let things slip, though. Me most of all, since I know how everything ends. [it makes her feel kind of like an oracle or something]
How was I supposed to know he was going to be brought from that point?! I didn't even know that was possible till he told me that he had no idea what I was talking about.
[he rolls his eyes] And yeah, obviously. I guess we just need to start asking where people have been pulled from first rather than talking about our experiences.
Okay, that's true...I would have thought that we all came from the same time, so if you hadn't said anything, I probably could say something a lot worse.
[she frowns] It just feels so...so weird to open a conversation with someone you know with "where in time do you come from?". Like, this isn't a sci-fi novel!

Why don't you just phrase it like the way I phrased my question to you. What was the last thing you remember happening back home. And, I dunno, explain to them that this place takes people from different time points? [he shrugs.]
I think that works. It'll probably always feel a bit odd, but at least that sounds nice. [she sighs] I'm still expecting to wake up at any moment. It doesn't feel real.
