[he sighs and leans his head against her's. well... as best as she can.] The fact that we have to consider if now doesn't make me happy.

[if this were any other time, she'd laugh at how hilarious their height difference is even when they're sitting down, but right now she just takes comfort in having him so close] I'm not exactly thrilled with it either. But unfortunately, that's the way it is right now.

[he would find it funny too if he weren't so damn mad right now.] I hate this. Why can't he see that what he's doing isn't doing his body any good at all?

[she heaves a sigh] I don't know. I explained everything to him, and he acted like he understood, but. I don't know why he thinks he's invincible.

He's going to end up hurting himself and doing something irreversible and then he'll realize that he's messed up.

But I can't let that happen! Even though he acts so aloof, I know this is something really important to him, and I can't...I can't just sit by and let him do this to himself!

But he deserves it. We've been vocal about his decision to keep on playing from the start. And yes we both know how much he likes the sport, but if you're going to keep doing something that could potentially screw up your career you don't deserve my sympathy. This is his choice in the end, and if he wants to screw his career up then fine by me. But he will not come and whine about it to me later.
