okay!!!! i'll be waiting in my lawn chair, just don't dawdle!!!

[Five minutes later, Kise is sprinting down the sidewalk, arms waving and not caring that he probably looks like an idiot.]

Momocchi! Momocchi!!!!

[True to her word, Momoi is seated in her lawn chair, clutching the packet to her chest with one arm, the other fiddling distractedly at her phone. As soon as she hears Kise calling out for her, she's on her feet, sprinting to meet him and throwing her arms around him.]

Kichan!!!! Oh, gosh, I'm so glad you're here.

[He catches her!! She's light enough that he doesn't stumble back, though it does surprise him a little.]

Momocchi!! Are you okay?

[She hugs him tight for a moment before loosening her grip enough to look up at him.]

I'm okay, I'm okay. Just...startled, I guess. I don't really understand what's going on, so I'm just really glad to see you, Kichan.

That's good to hear! Everything's going to be okay now, Momocchi! Don't worry- I don't know about everything yet since I just got here myself, but we aren't kidnapped! Not really, anyway... [He doesn't let go of her, knowing that waking up in a strange place is going to be startling to anyone.]

Are we here for a reason? What are we supposed to do here? Whenever this happens on TV, it always seems like there's some sort of big quest the heroes go on, but...a suburb doesn't really feel very quest-like. [she's glad at least that he isn't letting go of her. They don't exactly have a touchy-feely relationship, but it's good to be close right now.]

Well, when I asked Tachibana-senpai about it, he just said- the landlord here wants us as company. So I guess as long as we're happy, he's happy? I don't know, but there's no quest that anyone's told me about.

Well, I'll admit, I'm glad there's no quest. I'm not cut out for adventuring. [she sighs] But the landlord...do we meet him? Who is he?

It doesn't sound like we get to meet him at all. He must be some kind of sorcerer, though, to bring us all here somehow. [He pats her back.] But it isn't all that bad. Aominecchi is here! And he's the same as ever!

That's so weird...I don't know if I trust someone who brings us all here but refuses to see us. [but her trepidation is forgotten in the light of this new information] Eh? Daichan is here?!

At least we're in this together, Momocchi! [Trying so hard to make her feel comfortable and not scared like he was.] He is here! Probably sleeping somewhere, maybe we can text him.

That's a good idea! I want to make sure he's okay...

[He laughs.] You're always worried about him, aren't you?

[She laughs as well, and even though she makes a face, there's fondness in her eyes.] You have met the guy. It's impossible not to worry all the time. He wouldn't make it without me!

It's true, it's true! Without Momocchi, Aominecchi would probably just sleep all the time, wouldn't he?

Sleep and play basketball and maybe eat some cup ramen when he can remember to eat. [she heaves a sigh, looking at the house.] We should...probably see what's inside, huh?

Yeah! Let's see who your new family is, Momocchi!

[she fishes the key from the pocket of her hoodie, sliding it into the lock and opening the front door. and it's...

it's really nice. open and airy and decorated in such a chic manner that there must be another woman living here. slipping off her shoes, she walks cautiously into the living room, taking it all in.]

Is this...really mine? It's so nice!

Eh! It's decorated pretty cutely, Momocchi!

Hello! [He calls out, toeing off his shoes.] Sorry to intrude!!

Whoever lives here is really good at interior design. [she walks into the kitchen, looking around in awe] Do you think that they could be out? It is the middle of the day, after all.

Maybe. I know I don't spend a lot of time at home myself.
